Within two or three hours nearly 100 people were killed… … Tension is still high… … Our friends from abroad have unfortunately exaggerated the incidents and have made monsters of me, Tun Razak and the Malay people… … the people who really started the trouble were communists… … the majority of whom happened to come from the Chinese race, and so the Malays took their revenge resulting in the loss of many innocent lives… …. 18 letters, 20-pages 4to or folio, on his official printed letter-heading, a number with autograph postscripts, together with an autograph postcard and a Christmas card.
