The sword fittings in shakudo with copper, gold and shibuichi feature kiri and Hō-ō badges (crests of the Mikado), and menuki by no less than twenty two different artists including such eminent makers as Hidekuni, Kunishige, Mitsuhiro, Tsūjo, Yoshisada and Sōmin, 85 in all. A complete translation, extending to thirteen pages, including grading and details of the various artists, by B.W.
